On her second birthday the Princess who is now looking the age of twelve has begun to display new abilities and talents that the entire court is afraid of her. In his blindness as a father the king still believes that she is a good omen and possibly the savior of Raine.
Several days after her second birthday she would open the castle gates to the northern and allowed the light to pour into the city. One strode up to the Princess and knelled before her and she asked why. It looked up and said you are "Mother", you gave us life and chance. We serve you, and when she asked who is the we. The light responded,"We are "THE DARK!" She replied but you are made of light and purity how can it be that you are dark. They replied, we are many things, one side of the world, one side of life we are the light within the darkness. We are the light outside the darkness but we are of the same blood and the same fight. We are of legend, we came after the first. From the beyond the mountain of Fate, our brethren comes from the depths of the world where fire and blood boils. So We are the Dark and we have awaited for your arrival and ascension over this world.
Perplexed yet convince she told them she is ready, but they told her not till the moons turn blood red will she truly rise to power. It will be one year from today but there will be a price. She asks what that price is? It is the Kingdom of Raine. So she would wait one year to that day, walk into her father's throne room and murder him. As he died he ask her why would you do this my love, i love you more that the world. She replied I am the world Father, I am it's mother and it is my place to love no other but the world. I can't do that with you living. He replied when you have your own children you will learn to love more than the world. She looked at him with defiance and walked out of the throne room. Raine fell that day, and was turn to ashed for the most part. Her hordes would spread into the world from there and humankind will cower in fear until the man who fell from Mount Fate arrives. But that's is the Third Age and another story...and so it begins
