Origins of Mother of the World pt1

Unlike the man who came from the Mount of Fate, the woman know as Mother came from the Kingdom of Raine. She was has many names and no name but in truth no one knows what her true name is.  She is called Mother by all who live in the world of Etrea.  She is worship by the dark and feared by the light and her conundrum is that she is both.

In the second age of the Etrea sun before the High Lord would walk the world, the Kingdom of Raine was  the jewel of the world of the age.  Raine rule most to all of the southern hemisphere of the planet to the island nation of the central see. Their king was a simple but prideful man and his wife a blue haired beauty from the island of Emril.  After 20 years of marriage the Queen of Raine was finally with child and the entire world was to welcome the new heir.

One the day of this child's birth for the first time in recorded history there was an eclipse of both moons of Etrea. Many took this as a good omen and sign that this child was blessed due to she also bore a small mark that looked like black moon of Etrea. Unbeknown est to them it was the sign of the end. In the southern most part of the kingdom the ground shook till it split in half and dark shadows and creatures poured out from it.  Word of this unnatural occurrence didn't reach the King until the two days later after the birth of his daughter.  The King and Queen had yet to named their new baby girl when the Queen fell violently and as she passed from this world she whisper to her husband the name in which their daughter should be name. It was this day the King understood why his wife had named their child "...." as she went from two days old to the age of three in a matter of days.  Her name was cursed and not to be mention to all in Raine. She was maturing at an alarming rate and the Kingdom of Raine was now facing its twilight.

The creatures and beings that rose from the crevice in deep south and fell from the sky in the upper north all came to the kingdom. The countryside was littered bodies of the dead and roads ran red with blood. The king sent his armies to defend the country as it was laid siege to by the light and dark.

  They called for the Princess of Raine to come to them as they gained more and more ground in the ensuring conflict. To lead them and be their God, her answer would shake the kingdom to ground and change the world.
